Ideal for light, beneficial exercise as a break from training. There are steep hills which the horse must either trot or canter up, and a few creeks and streams to cross. As GHS is right on the coast, the beach is only a few kilometres from the main stable yard, so we often take horses on the beach to work on their stamina and aerobic capacity.[/blockquote]

Galloping lanes with inclines and declines, turns in both directions and makes full two mile circuits. on both turf and dirt with distance markers. There are three different galloping lanes.

The Aquatread, an amazing product, which is a treadmill, a swimming pool and a hydrotherapy bath all in one. It massages muscles and allows the horse to exercise in a controlled environment with no stress or trauma.

A horse treadmill that can go speeds of up to 30km/h. It has a heart rate monitor and it measures the distance made and average speed of the horse.

| Swimming Pool
Swimming is ideal as it places much less stress on the horse's legs. It can also be therapeutic when horses suffer injuries or underego surgery. This pool is twenty metres long and two point five metres deep. The controlled temperature is set at thirty five degrees celcius.
